Our Mission

HONESTY, EDUCATION, RESCUE, DETERMINATION

Our Mission for Kids

We prepare the next generation of leaders by connecting children with horses — teaching children grit, compassion, responsibility, and

teamwork through horsemanship and horse rescue.

Leadership Through Horsemanship

• Guiding a 1,000-pound horse develops calm, confident leaders.

• Children gain grit and perseverance through daily challenges.

• Teamwork and communication are built in a herd — kids discover they are stronger together.

Our Programs

• HERD Camps — Weeklong leadership & horsemanship camps

• Frontline Families — A scholarship based program that funds summer camp and lesson programs designed specifically for children of military members, police officers and first responders.

• Leadership Clinics — Workshops that build responsibility and integrity

• Mentorship — Older youth guide younger participants

Why Leadership Matters

• Builds confidence and resilience

• Instills responsibility and integrity

• Creates leaders ready to strengthen our community

Meet Maggie & Pearl

Maggie and Pearl were rescued from a kill pen on September 4, 2024. They endured a 17-hour trailer ride without food or water

before being picked up in Kern County and brought 7 hours to our ranch. Arriving with ribs showing, scratches, illness, and fear,

they faced a scary recovery from shipping fever. With time, veterinary care, and patience, we earned their trust — cutting the

numbers from their tails and giving them names. Today, Maggie and Pearl are thriving examples of the transformation possible

through rescue and rehabilitation.

“These two horses are living proof of resilience and second chances.”

How to Help

• Volunteer your time at the ranch

• Sponsor or financially support a rescue horse or a program

• Help fund a child’s camp experience

• Provide supplies such as feed, tack, or ranch materials

• Partner with us to expand community outreach
